Jess RohnSoftball Instructor
During her high school career, Jess was named All-Area Shortstop for the 1999, 2000 and 2002 seasons. She helped lead Nazareth Area High School to the 2002 District 11 Championship as well as the Mountain Valley Conference Championship. She continued her playing career at Temple University where she was a member of the Owls 2004 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship team. Jess was later named All Atlantic 10 Team Shortstop for the 2007 season.
After completing her collegiate playing career, Jess turned her passion for softball into a coaching career. She served as an Assistant Coach at Austin Peay State University from 2008 to 2012.

Jess now enjoys owning and operating Sports DoctoR Athletics. She provides fast pitch softball lessons for hitting, left-handed slapping, fielding and throwing.

Ashley BoldaSoftball Instructor
Pitched at Holt High School where she earned first-team all-district honors as sophomore, junior and senior and was named all-conference as a sophomore and senior. Ashley was also named first-team all-state in Missouri as a senior. She then went on to play D1 softball at Austin Peay State University.

Shawna AbercrombieSoftball Catching Instructor
High School: Jefferson Area High School in Jefferson, Ohio. Regional Finals- junior and senior year (2015/2016) State Tournament 3rd Place.
Travelball: Ohio Jaguars and Thunder Elite Thunder Elite won State Championship 2014 and 2015. 2015 State Tournament MVP.
Education: Currently enrolled in Nursing program at Austin Peay State University
Service to our Country: Enlisted in the National Guard.

Madison KurtzSoftball Instructor
Madison Kurtz was a four-year varsity player at West Creek High School. During her time at West Creek she was named All-District, voted her team MVP all four years, and still holds the school home run record. She also maintained at 3.8 GPA. Kurtz played travel ball for the Clarksville Lady Titans.
After high school, Kurtz attended Chattanooga State where she was named a Scholar Student Athlete as a freshman. She started at catcher her sophomore year. That year Chattanooga State were Regional Champions and participated in the NJCAA National Tournament. After receiving an Associates Degree from Chattanooga State, she received a scholarship to play at the University of Memphis, but unfortunately a back injury ended her playing career.

Mark ParentBaseball Instructor
Mark played in the MLB from 1986 to 1998 with the San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburg Pirates, Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies. He was drafted in the 4th round out of high school by the San Diego Padres and made his MLB debut in 1986.
He was the bench coach for the MLB Chicago White Sox from 2012 to 2015.
Mark leads the development of all Sports DoctoR-Baseball Instruction, Player Development Programs, Coaches Clinics, and Community Outreach Programs.
SDR is excited to have a former MLB Player and MLB Coach reside/retire here in Clarksville, share the game, and help Keep the Dreams Alive- in all of us.

Jake ParentBaseball Instructor
Throughout Jakes childhood, he was fortunate to visit every Major League Baseball Field, watch pregame of numerous professional athletes and take batting practice on every MLB field hangout His father Mark Parent played MLB ball for over 13 years and Jake was blessed to be around great athletes and role models throughout his young life.
Out of high school, Jake had a gift to Pitch and was clocked at 95 mph. He played college ball at: San Joaquin Delta Junior College, Shasta College, Menlo College, and Benedictine University Mesa.
Before college ball, he played for the Red Sox Pro Scout league in 2013 and Volunteered with the Junior Giants in Shasta, CA.
Jake was a main instructor for the Redding Colt 45s Organization from 2015- 2018.

MIKE LARWABaseball Instructor
Trained with high level coaches from MLB when he was attending Lakeside High School in California. Currently, Larwa serves in the US Army and in his extra time he wants to help develop local athletes and mentor young men.

Conner HasecusterBaseball Instructor
Conner Hasecuster has traveled all over the country in his years of playing. He started playing competitive travel baseball when he was 13 years old and played for the Indiana Prospects his 13U, 14U, and 15U seasons. His 16U, 17U, and 18U seasons were spent with the Indiana Bulls Organization where he was coached by MLB Pro and current Indiana University Assistant Coach Dan Held.
He played four seasons for Shelbyville High School where he lettered all four years. Conner received one Honorable Mention and three All-Conference Nominations. His team won the conference title his sophomore season. His junior and senior seasons, he was voted team captain by his teammates and as a senior was nominated to play in the Indiana All-State Baseball Series.
After high school Conner went on and played one year of Division 1 baseball at the University of Evansville. It was during this time that he realized he could have a future in teaching and coaching baseball. He has since coached a number of teams that have ranged from seven and eight year olds to high school players.

Justin BeatySoccer Instructor
Justin Beaty has over 15 years experinece playing elite soccer and now wants to share his passion to youth soccer players.
Played in Germany for 4 years before attending Rossview High School. 2013 and 2014 District Champions, 2014 Reginonal Runner Up.
Graduated with a Business degree and played for the Mens Soccer team at Cumberland University. Won Mid South Conference in 2016 and 2018.
Justin instructed clinics and camps at Cumberland University and now wants to share his experience, knowledge, and passion at Sports DoctoR Athletics.
